Project Name

Earth Day 2015 -Recognizing Endangered Species Project - Sea Turtle, Chelonia Mydas

Project Description

This heart shaped reptile known as the Sea turtle is now endangered due to a number of unfortunate reasons. They are often slaughtered for their meat, shell, eggs, and their skin. Although it this critter only grows to be about four feet and 440 pounds, the impact it has on the aquatic world. This animal suffers from over- exploitation and habitat destruction. They depend on water because it is their habitat. We can better take care of this fascinating animal by setting limits on the exploration and experiments that involve them. Law enforcement can also help by enforcing animal cruelty laws more sternly and raise awareness.
