Project Description

Museum Volunteers for the Environment (MUVE), a volunteer habitat restoration program at Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science (Frost Science) is currently restoring 17 acres of coastal habitat at Virginia Key North Point (VKNP), an uninhabited island on public land off the coast of Miami, Florida. MUVE maintains a citizen science effort whereby volunteers collect biological and environmental data at restoration sites before and after habitat has been restored to determine the effectiveness of restoration efforts.
